..and more often than none they happen because your lazy behind wasn’t willing to go the extra mile and do what it takes to make it to the top. Stop using those abused phrases to justify your lack of ambition and success. You want something? GO OUT THERE AND FIGHT FOR IT! “Oh woe is me..but I guess everything happens for a reason” Yes you’re right and you’re the reason why it happened. If you want to drown in your own pool of self pity, that is more than fine with me. But don’t think I will join you. Quit thinking that everything you desire will simply fall into place without you putting the much needed effort. How do you expect to be blessed when you do nothing to encourage blessings? And do you really expect us to stay here and listen to you moan and groan about how your life is falling apart? You brought it on yourself! You cannot live a double life and have all this negative energy and anticipate anything positive in return. What pipe have you been smoking? And yes they roll their eyes when you start to speak, but what do you expect? It’s always the same story with you. When are you going to make changes and move on to the next chapter? No day is a guarantee. Go out there and do what needs to be done to put you in a better/happy place. Surround yourself with positive people who won’t lie to you, but will speak the truth at all times and will be harsh toward you when you clearly deserve it. The End.

Hello 2010! I received this in an email and thought it would be best to share :)

Health:
1.       Drink plenty of water.
2.       Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner
like a beggar.
3.       Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less
food that is manufactured in plants.

others.

21.    No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
22.    Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn.

Facebook bore

Nota bien: The past few weeks have been so hectic that by the end of each day, I am too tired to blog. Hopefully, with the start of this new school year and meeting some new faces, I will have new and exciting topics to write about :)

Almost everyone I know of has a facebook account. If you don’t, you really aren’t missing out on that much! When I first joined facebook,I thought it was a great social site which made it easier to keep in touch with friends and family, make new friends, share photos and videos etc. I enjoyed writing on my friends walls, embarrassing them by posting photos of our youthful days, browsing through family photos etc. I guess since it’s been a while the ‘buzz’ has worn off and this site has lost its appeal. Don’t get me wrong I still go on (though not as often as before) and maintain contact with the outside world, however it’s become a bore to me right now. More often than none I chose to deactivate my account, only to log in once again just to see what I missed. Presently my account is active but I seem to naturally forget about it days on end. I don’t know if it might just be me preparing for school next week or if I really have lost all interest in the networking site, but facebook no longer contains the ‘hoop-la’ it once had. That’s just me.

facebooksecrets

Another reason why I really can’t seem to care about it is that too many people use it as an avenue to ‘lash’ out at others and it’s disgusting. Last week, a facebook friend of mine (whom I do not know personally) broke up with his girlfriend and  made it the focus of his status on the homepage. Lo and behold his new ex-girlfriend decided to comment and say that ‘she was happy she never had his kids and he’s a this and he’s a that’. It soon turned out to be a brawl between the two right before the eyes of hundreds of others. That was info I did NOT need to know. With all of this pasted on the homepage it’s not like I could have avoided it either. I see nothing wrong in letting others know your current mood or whatever, but I see no reason to expose your life’s drama right there for anyone to see. The comments that were made by both parties were so distracting that I simply clicked the ‘hide’ button on the right. If I had to click this button everytime drama like this unfolded then..hmm..I guess my homepage would be much shorter. I’ve been told that I’m weird anyway. So maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t really wanna know someone else’s secrets or vices, especially somone who is a mere acquaintance and not within my close knit of friends. Idk. I’m reserved like that..lol. But seriously guys; the internet drama is totally not necessary. Can you do it somewhere else? Whatever happened to everyone wanting their privacy? Hmm..

haha

I am sure many of you are familiar with the rising debate of the legalising of marijuana here in the USA, whether for medical purposes in some states or as a tactic to help pay off a city’s deficit [as is the case of California right now]. This topic has not been hushed and has been seriously approached by governors, state legislators etc. I am certain that more is going to be said by officials over the coming months and as expected, the opinions of many will surely be heard in the streets. I don’t smoke and don’t condone it, but I don’t put down those who include this habit in their lifestyles. It’s not my business. Anyhoo I found this interesting and short clip I deemed worthy of sharing with you guys [I did not know half of what was shown] ;)
